Hi, I’m Arjun; I love music. I created this website to document my journey as a music lover, listener, and consumer. Music is an extremely special form of art to me, especially albums: by listening to an album all the way through, you are hearing and feeling the art form in exactly and precisely the way that the musician or the group intended.
I think that is special.
There will be a few types of reviews captured here:
- Critically Acclaimed: There are so many universally loved and appreciated albums out there which I have never listened to. Therefore, I hope to use this project as an opportunity to force myself to listen to them and understand why everyone loves them so much. Hopefully, along the way, I fall in love with them too.
- Random Finds: Here, I will seek out unknown, though not necessarily obscure, albums in genres that I enjoy and listen to them all the way through. I can’t wait to share diamonds in the rough with all of you!
- Recommendations: Please send me your personal favorite albums, especially ones that you think I would like. I can’t promise that you will love what I have to say about them though…
- Personal Favorites: Over my years of listening to music, there are a few albums that I can listen to, sequentially, over and over. I do not plan to review these albums; rather, I will share why I love these albums with you in the hopes that you give them a listen as well.
